FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is the ceremony video edited?
Imagine watching a live awards show, only the bride and groom are the stars. Our footage and editing allows the viewer's perspective to seamlessly switch between different camera angles for the ceremony. The length of the ceremony video is typically the length of the actual ceremony.
How is the reception video edited?
The reception video contains the major moments of the reception- the formal dances, the garter and bouquet tosses, the cake cutting, a second-line, etc. Whatever moments that make your wedding reception special will be big highlights in your video. In between those major moments, we include all the best moments from the reception like your uncle's attempt at the wobble or your sorority sisters' tribute. All the video is edited using the audio on location so that when you watch, you'll feel like you're back on the dance floor.
How long is a typical wedding video?
Depending on the wedding, the video can range between 90 to 120 minutes long.
Do you bring your own lighting, if necessary?
The only piece of lighting equipment we will bring is an on-board camera light. It is a small LED light that can be dimmed, depending on the lighting of the venue. It is very unobtrusive-- part of our job is ensuring that we're never in the way or distracting from the experience.
How do you ensure proper sound?
Proper sound is ensured by placing a small lapel microphone on the groom during the ceremony that will record directly to our cameras. This feeds directly to our cameras and does not broadcast to your guests; it's just to ensure you hear every word of those vows in your video. Audio recorders will also be placed in other areas, if necessary. Our cameras will record any ambient audio from our on board microphones.
Will the video be shot in HD?
All videos are shot in full 1080p HD.
When will the final version of my video be completed? Videos are guaranteed completed within 4 months of shooting. Often they are done much sooner. We make sure to put all of our focus into each wedding we edit so that no special moment is left on the cutting room floor.
